About Sands
Every day in the UK, 14 babies are stillborn or die shortly after birth. Sands is the leading stillbirth and neonatal death charity and exists to reduce the number of babies dying and to support anyone affected by the death of a baby, before, during or shortly after birth.
Sands provides bereavement support services both nationally through its Freephone helpline, mobile app, online community and resources, and locally through a network of around 100 regional support groups based across the UK and run by trained befrienders.
Sands works in partnership with health care professionals, trusts and health boards and offers a range of training programmes and bereavement care resources to ensure that every bereaved parent and family receives the best possible care wherever they are in the UK.

How do charities benefit?
At Assistall, we donate we donate profits to our amazing charity partners. Each charity partner receives an equal share of the profits, which they can use to carry out their essential services and research.
As well as financial donations, Assistall provides charities with exposure, so be sure to take a look through our charity partners for the latest news, fundraisers and other ways you can help.
How is money raised?
One of the main ways Assistall raises money for charity is through our voucher codes. We have tens of thousands of voucher codes and deals for the UK’s favourite retailers.
Every time you use an Assistall voucher code, the retailer pays us a small referral commission, which is then split with our charity partners.
There are also other money saving tools on Assistall, which work in a similar way to fundraise for charity.
Is it free?
Assistall is completely free for both charities and consumers. Retailers pay a small commission when we help generate a sale, but they also benefit from extra customers and exposure. Everyone wins with Assistall!
Do I need to register?
There is no need to register. We understand that when looking for a voucher code, you simply want to find a great deal and then return to the checkout and finish your purchase. As such, we have removed the requirement to register.
Even without registering, you will still be helping to raise money for our charity partners. We split our profits equally with our charity partners, so they will all benefit with your help!
How many charity partners are there?
Unlike many other fundraising platforms, we only work with a limited number of charity partners. This partly due to the fact all of our charity partners receive an equal donation, and having too many charities would dilute the donation amount.
To ensure the greatest impact, we have hand picked charity partners who carry out their work in a range of different sectors, as well as at local, national and international levels.
